DEB CHAMBERLIN released her sophomore CD, entitled “I AM SHE,” a project close to her heart and produced by her husband, Robert Wynn. Co-writing all of the cuts with Robert (except for the Stevie Wonder cover), “I AM SHE” is an eclectic mix of songs, inspired from 360 degrees of real life. From poignant to sensual to inspirational, Deb holds nothing back in expressing how it is for her as a woman. Passionate and soulful in word and voice, melody and rhythm equally surge through her sound. Fans of Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt, Alanis Morissette, & Annie Lennox will love this CD!

As a vocalist, she has performed in top Philly & NYC venues including World Café, Tin Angel, The Point, National Constitution Center, Wachovia Center, Havana, Steel City Coffeehouse, Milkboy, Collingswood May Fair & Mamapalooza Festivals, Camden County Sundown Series, CBGB’s, Bitter End & more. As a session and jingle singer, her voice has been heard on TV and Radio up and down the East Coast (including the nightly Pennsylvania Lottery Drawing theme song). And, as one of NYC and Philly’s premier vocal coaches, she has trained hundreds of singers, from beginners to major label recording artists (including Carole King, Tom Keifer of Cinderella, Eric Bazilian of The Hooters, Joziah of Gandalf Murphy and the Slovakian Circus of Dreams, & more).

Having also evolved into a community activist, Deb is active in a number of organizations that contribute to the Greater Good. As Co-Founder and Executive Director of the “Changing Our World (COW) Project, Inc.,” a non-profit teen group that uses the creative arts to make a difference in the world, she mentors young people and has taken the group all over the state of New Jersey to perform, including the Phila. 76ers Basketball and events in Trenton for the Attorney General’s Office and state Human Relations Council. Deb co-wrote the group’s theme song, “We Can Change Our World,” whose music video was awarded “Best Music from a Music Video” and “Broader Vision Award for Music Video” in the prestigious 2008 Garden State Film Festival, and “Best Music Video” in the 2007 Delaware Valley Film Festival. Deb is also the Regional Coordinator for the Philadelphia / South Jersey annual Mamapalooza Festival, empowering moms in the creative arts, and bringing together families and communities to celebrate the creative spirit of motherhood.

As songwriters, Deb and Robert have worked as a team for over 2 decades. Their songs have been published, held by major artists, and placed in an indie film soundtrack, and together, they own ESAH Music. Deb and Robert live in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area with their 13-year-old daughter. Robert’s long career as a drummer (including a major label deal) led him into songwriting and producing. In his state-of-the-art recording studio, he has produced bands and artists from Rock to Rap, and his work has led to major label deals. “I AM SHE” is a joint project, combining all the talents of this team. Robert’s vast experience as a multi-instrumentalist, writer and producer continually drive the project to higher levels of excellence and expression.
