Susie co-authored a book with Wayne Dyer & others called “Wake Up Moments”, Susie is creating Shamalada Healing Sanctuary in Bucks County, PA, She produced a Holistic Nutrition DVD, and I have THE BEST support system!

“I understand how it feels to be overwhelmed in the world of health and nutrition. Throughout my healing process, I sought help from holistic health practitioners, researched nutrition, and experimented with my diet to heal from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. While all the therapies and diet changes helped, they did not get rid of the chronic health conditions. The realization that there must be something more led me to dig deeper within myself in attempt to discover why I was unable to heal. Although I was eating healthy foods, my life was unbalanced in other ways. It was not until until I made myself and my health a priority that I finally realized that I am in charge of my own healing. For me, friends, acupuncture, spirituality, exercise, and a healthy way of eating are key in maintaining balance and health in my life.”

The goals of your personalized wellness program are to re-connect with your body and yourself so that you can radically improve your life, resolve concerns specific to you and your body and to provide you with tools for a lifetime of balance. We will work on finding the right foods for your body and the other areas of your life that feed you on the deepest levels. This unique approach provides meaningful, lasting results.

Like most of us, you have probably tried a variety of diets, and may even have managed to do well on some for a few weeks or even months. However, the emphasis such diets place on willpower, deprivation and denial is both unnecessary and counter-productive. The reality is that, unless you have a plan that is practical, works with your lifestyle and takes your individuality into account, it will not last. I can help you to create such a plan.

Our work together includes education about real food and encouragement to experiment with food and your body. I will guide you on your spiritual path as you gain clarity with your food and what brings joy into your life. We will meet weekly or every other week for at least 3-6 months.

Conventional dietary theories present you with food restrictions and limitations that are difficult to sustain over time. Such quick fixes do nothing to help you achieve life-long wellness nor do they bring out the body’s natural inclination toward balance. Together, we will introduce new and healthful foods and activities, gently and slowly. As you start to feel better, these habits have a natural tendency to take hold and ease out the less healthful ones.

As you become healthy, other areas of your life such as relationships, career and creativity start to improve. You will naturally begin to crave those foods and activities that make you feel better, and to make time in your life for those things that are truly important to you.

Susie Beiler’s Approach
I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected. Does stress at your job or in your relationship cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? As we work together, we look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole.

A health coach (or health counselor) is a wellness guide and supportive mentor. Together, we’ll work to achieve your goals in areas such as weight management, food cravings, sleep and energy. Through working with me, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of the foods and lifestyle choices that work best for you, and implement lasting changes that will improve your energy, balance and health.

Bio-individuality
The concept of bio-individuality is that each person has their own food and lifestyle needs. So, when the experts say, “dairy is good for you” or “fat is unhealthy,” it doesn’t apply to everyone. One person’s food is another person’s poison, and that’s why fad diets tend to fail in the long run. Working on the principle of bio-individuality, I’ll support you in making positive changes that are based on your unique needs, lifestyle, personal preferences, and background. Instead of prescribing one fix for all people, I use a personalized, holistic approach that is based on your needs.

Everything is food We are not only fed by food but by other factors in our lives. Healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, regular physical activity and a spiritual practice are essential forms of nourishment. When these “primary foods” are balanced, what you eat becomes secondary.
